Pike County, Arkansas Birth Records

 

In 2009, Pike County had a total of 10,627 residents, according to the United States Census; 128 of those residents were new births. The Arkansas Department of Health publishes a report annually with the number of new births, as well as number of births to women under age 18 and under age 20. Birth Record Requirements

 

You will need to include these bits of information before the birth record can be released: the full name of the person on the birth certificate (including maiden name), date of birth, city or town and county of birth, father’s and mother’s full names (including the mother’s maiden name), your relationship to the person on the birth record, and the reason you’re requesting a birth record. You also need to include this form:

Birth Record Limitations

 

Birth records are only available to the person on the record, immediate family, or the designated attorney for the first 100 years after the birth record’s creation. However, after this time has passed, any member of the public may view them.
