San Luis Obispo County, California Death Records

A thorough review of a death record will reveal the following: the signature of the coroner or the medical examiner, the deceased’s place of death, the deceased’s time of death, a physical description of the deceased, the deceased’s name, and the date of birth for the deceased. In the case where the cause of death is in question, a police officer’s signature or detective’s signature is usually found on the death record as well.
