State of Alaska Divorce Record Accessibility
Only the husband or wife may obtain a certified copy of a divorce certificate. Legal counselors can also obtain a divorce record if they are representing the husband or wife. These records are not public record.

Required Information: Use the full first, middle, and last names as they appear on the certificate when filling out the request form. You need to include a copy of your government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, military ID, or passport. Include your signature with your divorce record request.

Search Fees: To obtain a copy of the divorce record, you must pay $25 for the first copy, and $20 for each additional copy.
Retrieval Timeframe: 2 -3 weeks
Divorce Record Contents
Contained in a divorce record, you will find: any settlements that are due, all child support payment information, a complete distribution of property, all spousal support payment information, the date of the marriage, child custody agreements (if children are involved in the marriage), the full name of the wife, the full name of the husband, and the complete division of debt.
