Divorce records can be ordered by any member of the public in the state of Florida. You may want to order divorce records if you need to verify marital status or wish to remarry, or if you need to confirm final arrangements from a divorce in the event of a future disagreement.

Genealogy researchers can also use divorce records to learn more about specific dates of divorces, identities of children resulting from a marriage, and possibly addresses and occupational information for the couple.
