Marriage License Requirements
If you are getting a divorce in order to marry again, you will need to obtain a new marriage license. If you need a copy of your old marriage record, you can still order it at the Georgia State Health Department.
The age of consent in Georgia is 18, and you must include a photo ID with your application; no blood test is required when you apply. Both of you will need to be present when filling out the application. To avoid the marriage application fee, you may take the Premarital Education Course (a six-hour class).
