State of Connecticut Marriage Record Accessibility
A marriage record can be requested by any member of the public, as long as he or she is over the age of 18. However, only the bride and the groom listed on the certificate can request a copy of a marriage record with the Social Security numbers printed on it. All other requesters will receive a marriage record without Social Security numbers.

Marriage Record Contents
Marriage records are actually the culmination of three important components on the same document: the marriage application, the marriage license, and the Certificate of Marriage. The actual document will vary from state to state, as each state has jurisdiction over what should be included. Core information will remain the same: the full name of the groom, the full name of the bride, their respective addresses, their respective birth dates (or ages), the date of the ceremony, and the place where the ceremony took place.
