There were 332 marriages in Jackson County in 2009, as you can see at http://www.flpublichealth.com/VSBOOK/VSBOOK.aspx. You will need to select the “Marriages and Dissolutions of Marriages” chart, and click on Table-M1. 

Availability

A marriage record can be ordered by anyone in the state of Florida. Information contained in these records includes such data as birth dates and maiden name of the bride, parents’ names, places of birth and even occupations.

Enclosed in a Marriage Record Request

The fee for a marriage record is $5. You will need to fill out this form you’re your request: http://www.doh.state.fl.us/planning_eval/vital_statistics/DH_261_10-09.pdf, and include a copy of your photo ID.  

Marriage Record Copies from the State’s Health Department

The state maintains marriage records dating from June 6, 1927 to the present. Information can be found at: http://www.doh.state.fl.us/planning_eval/vital_statistics/marriage.htm and the address is below.

Marriage License Rules

You may find more information about applying for a marriage license online at http://www2.myfloridacounty.com/wps/wcm/connect/jacksonclerk/Home/Marriage/. Both of you will need to be present when applying for a marriage license. You will need to use the marriage license during the 60-day period after the marriage license is issued. A proof of age will need to be presented as well. However, no blood test is required.
