Boone County, Arkansas Vital Records

When requesting vital records, keep in mind that there are stipulations in Arkansas regarding who can review them. While birth records are available to the public after 100 years past creation and death records are available after 50 years, marriage records and divorce records are never available to the public.

However, Arkansas allows the immediate family of those on the records to view the documents, the person on the birth record to view the birth record itself, and the husband & wife to view the marriage and divorce records. Additionally, appointed attorneys can view the documents during legal proceedings.

Birth Records and Death Records

Birth records and death records can be requested from the county health department, online, or the state health department. A birth record is $12 (non-refundable) for the first copy and $10 for each additional copy that you order. Death records are $10 for the first copy and $8 for additional copies. Note that if the clerks fail to find the date that you’re looking for, they will still keep the original fee.

For express ordering, you may place your request online at http://www.vitalchek.com/ or www.ExpressVitalRecords.com.
